Tottenham vs Liverpool – Betting Tips and Champions League Final Preview
Tottenham can make this one of the greatest seasons ever in the history of the club. The only thing they need to do is to defeat Liverpool in the finals of the Champions League. Easier said than done, though. But the Spurs already made miracles this season. We’ve seen how they advanced to the round of 16 from the group stage, then how they defeated Man city who was the absolute favourite, and afterwards how they created a sensation in Amsterdam. Tottenham secured the fourth place in the Premiership and reached the Champions League, which lowered the pressure a little bit before this match. They have only one win in the previous five games, and the overall form of Pochettino’s crew is not that great. Tottenham had a lot of injuries, and the recent period without games came handy to them.
Liverpool is, on the other hand, under a huge pressure not to lose their third European finals in the previous four years. After failing to Sevilla in EL, and Real Madrid in the UCL last year, Jurgen Klopp has to win some trophy and finally break his curse. If he doesn’t, it would be an ultimate blow for the Reds fans after a horrible finish of the Premiership. Liverpool was in good form while the championship lasted and in the latest 10 events, they recorded 9 wins and a defeat, and in all those victories the Reds scored at least twice. Four of the previous five ended with over 2.5 scores, and, in general, Klopp’s guys have one of the best attacks in the world, but also a respectable defence with probably the best centre-back of today, Virgil Van Dijk.

Team News
Danny Rose and Harry Winks will be fit to play, and that is a huge boost for Pochettino. Davinson Sanchez is doubtful. There are some rumours that Harry Kane might be ready, but even if he is, it is highly unlikely for him to start the match in Madrid. Why moving Lucas Moura or Son to the bench when they perform very well.
Naby Keita is set to go for Liverpool, and according to Jurgen Klopp, Roberto Firmino will be too. As for Adam Lallana, he won’t be in the protocol.
Prediction
We should see a very efficient high-paced match with a lot of goals. That is the style of play these two sides have, flamboyant, direct and pretty lethal. Latest four head-to-head meetings saw over 2.5 goals and both teams to score. Both matches this year ended with 2:1 for the Reds, and to be honest, it should have been more scores in either of them. Spectators saw plenty of chances. Because of that, we are suggesting betting on three or more goals. The odds are best at Betfred @ 10/11
Regarding the winner of the contest, Liverpool is closer to clinch a victory. Despite Tottenham’s heroic performances so far, we have to give an edge to the Reds, who already beaten the Spurs twice this season. Besides that, they are much healthier than their rivals, who will have a lot of players with minor injuries and questionable form. Liverpool’s win is best paid at bet365 @ 19/20.
