Brazil vs. Bolivia – Betting Tips and Copa America Preview
The Brazilian national team is under huge pressure to win some silverware. Selecao is without any notable success in recent years, and this Copa America tournament, which is, by the way, played at their home, is a perfect chance to change that. The Brazilians had high hopes from the World Cup last year, but that one turned to be a big bust for them. Afterwards, the generation led by Neymar was labelled fragile and overrated, same as the leading star of the crew. Paris Saint-Germain superstar won’t participate at the tournament because of an injury he picked up recently, and that is a major blow for the Selecao. Still, some are saying that the Brazilian team is better without him. Neymar just slows down the game, constantly placing himself in the centre of attention, hurting the teams’ potential. Since the elimination against Belgium at the World Cup, Brazil recorded 9 wins and a draw, keeping clean sheets on 8 occasions. Their game is no longer flamboyant and attractive, as they play hard, often result-oriented football. In seven games during this period, we haven’t seen more than two goals.
Bolivia is maybe the weakest team in the whole Copa America. This crew has modest quality, and they are complete underdogs in every game. From 23 players on their roster, only three are playing outside the country. The biggest name is Marcelo Moreno, former player od Shakhtar Donetsk, who is now a member of Shijiazhuang Ever Bright. It probably doesn’t mean anything for the majority of you who are reading this preview, and that can give you a clear picture of Bolivia’s strength. This team has only one victory in the past 10 events, and that was against Myanmar in October 2018. After that they played seven matches, posting four defeats and three draws. In six of those matches, they couldn’t score, and five of them saw under 2.5 goals. Currently, Bolivia lost three games in a row, against South Korea, Japan, and France.

Team News
The Brazilians are looking who is going to fill in Neymar’s spot as the leader of the team. Philippe Coutinho will probably be the playmaker and move all the strings on the field, along with Willian. It is also interesting to see who will start up front, as the Brazilians have several excellent players available.
There is no specific information from the Bolivian side, which could affect this match in any way.
Prediction
Regardless of the statistics from the past few matches, and the fact that Brazil played low-scoring affairs in the majority of them, we just have to propose betting on high efficiency here. The Brazilian side is playing in front of their own fans, who will be looking for as many goals as possible, especially after trashing Honduras with 7-0. Because of that, over 4.5 goals is our first choice, with the odds @ 10/3 at William Hill. Five goals might look too many, but this is worth risking, so take this advice.
Since the odds for Brazil’s win are just too low, we have one other suggestion. The hosts to net two or more goals in the first 45 minutes. Be sure that Tite’s boys will be aggressive right from the start, and that they won’t wait a moment to hurt poor Bolivia. Odds on this are quite solid, and our choice is Betway @ 7/5.
