Manchester United to Choose Between Inter’s Money and Paulo Dybala

Romelu Lukaku is in the middle of all the football talks this summer. The Belgian international supposedly is not in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans, and that made him one of the most wanted players in the European market.

The strong striker is on the radar of many major clubs, but for now, his future looks very unpredictable. The latest news from this morning is saying that Lukaku’s name isn’t on United’s list of players heading for Oslo for a friendly match against Kristiansund.

That only heated up the rumours and speculations about the soon to be move of the 26-year old. According to many pundits, Italy should be his next destination, but it still remains unclear which club.

For the moment, Juventus and Inter Milan are the top two favourites for Lukaku’s signature. They both have the resources for this transfer, and above all desperately need a player of his profile.

Antonio Conte Wants Lukaku

Is Romelu Lukaku leaving Manchester United?

Inter wants to dethrone Juve and snap their reign. But in order to do so, Nerazzurri have to strengthen their squad. Adding Lukaku upfront would make this team super-strong, and will completely change the philosophy of play, taking it to another level. His power and ability to break rivals’ defences would be something vital for Inter. But not only that, with his arrival, the club would put an end on Mauro Icardi saga. The Argentinian who is constantly blackmailing the club and is never happy could leave, or be removed to the bench, without further consequences for the club.

Also, Antonio Conte is a big fan of the former Everton and Chelsea player, and he isn’t afraid to say it in public. He recently even said that during his stint with the Blues he wanted to bring back the Belgian who was with the Toffees at the time.

Allegedly, Inter offered £63 million, but the Red Devils won’t go below £75, which was the price when he landed at Old Trafford. What is also making a problem for the Italians is the fact that the process of payment would last for several years, and United wants the cash immediately.

Juventus Offering Dybala, but Less Money

Another problem is the interest of their biggest rivals, Juventus. The Old Lady has something more tempting for United’s bosses. That is less cash but a player who fits in perfectly in Solskjaer’s vision of the team – Paulo Dybala.

One of the best wingers in the world lost his status in Turin after Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival. He isn’t in the middle of attention as before, and his overall influence on the game significantly decreased. Juve already tried to use him as an asset in few deals, but eventually the 25-year old didn’t go anywhere. Whether was that because of his desire to stay in Turin, or something else, it is still unknown.

Dybala

““I want to stay at Juventus. It doesn’t depend on me, the club will then make their decisions based on the ideas of the new Coach, but I want to continue with Juventus.””

Earlier last week, Juve offered £53.9 million for Lukaku, but that bid was rejected. The Italians now want to include Dybala in the whole deal. The Old Lady would benefit from this arrangement massively, as they already have solutions on Dybala’s position, but lack power in the opponent’s box.

United wants to resolve Lukaku’s situation as soon as possible, in order to have time to find his replacement and use the funds in for other signings.

If everything goes well, the Red Devils will try to sign Moussa Dembele, Lyon’s forward. But that could change if they accept the “Dybala offer” and the player himself agrees with that.

In the meantime, the English powerhouse reached a verbal agreement with Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and is expected for the Serb to become their player shortly. This could indicate Paul Pogba’s departure, but nothing has been revealed at the moment.

Stay tuned, because it seems that more exciting news from England is yet to come.
